If we consider carving tools, I think it is common for sets to be sold that include multiple types of blades with subtly different shapes, even if they are the same size. The materials for these blades are usually very hard and require a considerable amount of effort to process. If all the blades are made by cutting and polishing from the same angular-shaped material, the overall processing time will be quite significant.
